The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regards to the high variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every status sassa day. The service place established for intervention encounters a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
